  1. The Dxx nnBFnn (e.g. DMK 21BF04) DCam cameras support strobe control for flash lights. This means to the internal IO interface (its in the camera housing and the back panel must be removed to access it) a strobe control can be connected. Thus an external flash light can be synchronized to the camera through strobe.

  2. Strobe is a device used to produce regular flashes of light.A strobe light has a flash energy in the region of 10 to 150 joules. It is used in the alarm system.Scuba drivers uses strobe as an emergency signaling device.

  3. Strobe is one of a number of devices that can be used as a stroboscope.A stroboscope, also known as a strobe, is an instrument used to make a cyclically moving object appear to be slow-moving, or stationary. The principle is used for the study of rotating, reciprocating, oscillating or vibrating objects. Machine parts and vibrating strings are common examples.

  4. Strobe light or stroboscopic lamp commonly called a strobe , is a device used to produce regular flashes of light. It is one of a number of devices that can be used as a stroboscope. Strobe lights are used in scientific and industrial applications, in clubs where they are used to give an illusion of slow motion (cf. stroboscopic effect) and for aircraft anti-collision lighting. Other applications are in alarm systems, theatrical lighting (most notably to simulate lightning), and as high-visibility running lights.

  5. Strobe is a scientific instrument that provides a flashing light synchronized with the periodic movement of an object; can make moving object appear stationary.
Strobes are mostly used in digital underwater photography.
